Days 24 & 25

When Jason awoke in the late morning of the 24th day since the changes occurred, it was to the news that along with several of the lower-leveled women from the night prior, Felicity had leveled up. Besides her health reaching 64, her bonus attribute for reaching level 8 went to her dexterity as it rose to 22 and she gained a talent for moving along ledges quickly. After a quick meal with his party while they discussed their next moves, Jason was informed that the total coins that had been recovered from all the undead that had been vanquished was just over 2,000 gold. Past that there were a few pieces of gear that were magical from the vampire, with Misa gaining the headband that was super charging his charisma with a plus 6 to it. The rest had been divided among the other members of the group and it was time to have everyone set out for the day.

The plan was to focus on searching the area and recovering anything of value that they came across. Though by the end of the day when they all returned, Jason was only sure of one thing, all of the houses had been picked clean of gold. While there was plenty of food and even any other categories of supplies that they might want, there were no bodies and no gold to loot. They had cleared the whole of the area south of Blue Diamond Road and west of the 15, save for the sparsely populated northeast corner of it and still nothing by the time they called it a day. Though there were some large shopping centers just north of Blue Diamond Road in the corner that they had avoided. Jason would bet that places like that would be where a bunch of undead who were weak to sunlight would like to hide. Still, he wasn’t sure if it was a fight that his group wanted to take on just yet.

Jason was still focused on this when the sun finally set and he was getting ready to head to bed, when a commotion could be heard from those on watch. Before he could say anything, one of the women had informed him that a pale woman with a white flag in her hand was standing just outside the perimeter of the school. When Jason came to look, he saw the vampire who had been in the middle of taunting him when he attacked, standing there looking annoyed as she waited for someone to come forward and speak. After taking a moment to think about it and not sensing anything too dastardly about her presence, Jason stepped out and started walking towards her. When Rebecca and Hazel went to follow he stopped them, but told them to have their abilities ready just in case. Less than a minute later, he was standing in front of the petite bleached blond, who looked like she had been into sun tanning before the world went haywire as she spoke first.
